HOW TO: Best method for taking a picture is to have the car in a shaded area eg; a garage with the roller door open, you have the daylight contrasting the shade. Stand approximately 1 metre away  from the panel on a 45 degree angle, centre the dent in the camera screen, if you can have a reflection from something eg; brick work, fence line, a pole across the street, anything that can give a reflection onto the panel, stand in a way that reflection sits over the dent and take the shot.  This is the best way to highlight the dent  in a picture.  But don’t worry if you can’t do all the above just take a picture and send it to me  I may still be able to see the dent  to assess for you.
